Deep Neck Facelift 2 Weeks (Interview)

Facelift Expert & Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon showcases the Facelift Transformation Journey of a Patient of hers who had a Deep Plane Facelift and Deep Neck Lift. He wanted to address the aging signs on his neck and address the looseness and laxity. He also wanted to address his platysmal bands and get back his defined jawline.

In this Interview, Larry is 2 Weeks out and is still healing. We talked about where I place the incisions for a male facelift and what the incisions are looking like at this stage of his healing. At two weeks, I check for residual swelling, and I go over how to take care of the incisions using a scar gel. Larry is also cleared to do limited workouts at the gym. He can start having some range of motion in the neck, but not the full side to side turns yet. He can also start shaving, and Larry shares how it’s different for him because he still has areas of numbness.

My intention for sharing Larry’s Journey is to demystify the process of healing after having a facelift (and it can be different for everyone). The average downtime for a Deep Plane Facelift surgery is 2 to 3 weeks, and it can take about 3 to 6 months to get to the final result. This is why you should plan far in advance of any important event.
