Murphy Questions Elise Stefanik on Elon Musk’s Nazi Salutes

Senator Chris Murphy, a member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, on Tuesday questioned U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) at a hearing on her nomination to be the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Murphy pressed Stefanik for her reaction to Elon Musk’s Nazi salutes at President Trump’s inauguration rally on Monday. He also asked Stefanik how the Trump administration plans to sustain U.S. leadership in global public health following its decision to withdraw from the World Health Organization (WHO).
