⁴ᴷ Kagawa: Takamatsu Station (香川県: 高松駅) - Japan Walking Tour (January, 2025)

I’m restarting my revenge trip to tour various cities in Shikoku, which I had to give up last December. This time, I took a ferry directly from Tokyo to Tokushima and traveled through Kochi and Ehime before reaching Kagawa—the famous "Udon Prefecture."

Around Takamatsu Station, there are hotels and a fair number of travelers as well as commuters walking around. However, to get to the city center, you need to walk a bit, passing by the castle ruins on the way to Japan’s longest covered shopping arcade. If you try to walk through the entire arcade, it’s pretty intense. The total length is 2.7 kilometers, and even during filming, I had to give up on walking the whole thing. Part of the arcade overlaps with the nightlife district, so you may encounter hosts and bar promoters along the way.
