This short mediation is one of the most durable practices. You can do this exercise to reclaim calm and poise in the midst of a busy day.
There are three steps to the three minute breathing space:
1: noticing thoughts, feelings and body sensations
2: focus on the breath in a narrow field of attention
3: attend to the body as a whole and any sensations that are present
Each step is approximately one minute in length.
