Hair also has to do with thyroid issues, hormone imbalance & aging it’s NOT just about shampoo etc… It’s the whole endocrine system.
I think what comments have shown is that everyone’s hair reacts differently to different products. Like, I found Biolage took me a step up in my hair care routine, but Pantene was a disaster for me. Yet some people have had great results with Pantene. And then when you look at the comments on Redken, some loved it, and some found it damaging. I tried Prose too and it severely damaged my hair, but my sister used the exact same products as me (literally gave her my bottles), and it worked wonders for her. Whatever works for you is what you should get. Edit: After reading the entire comment section (as of 1/27), here’s what you need to know: - Dreamcoat is a STYLING product. Not a product meant to improve hair health. If used for its intended purpose, then you might be fine. - Products are only as good as their user. If a product is used incorrectly or for the wrong hair type and porosity, then it is a bad product for YOU. But it is not necessarily a bad product. - Tools and habits are just as important. Your shampoos might not be the problem as much as sleeping without protective hairstyles or overusing heat might be. It is important to maintain healthy hair habits beyond wash day. - If a product made your hair fall out, it is possible that you had an allergic reaction to it. It is probably worth looking at the ingredients and checking out possible irritants because many other shampoos and conditioners use common ingredients (and that irritant might have been fragrance). - There is such a thing a too much protein which can also cause hair loss and damage. You should only be adding protein if your hair needs more protein. - For people asking about natural hair products (that’s a confusing statement, I mean naturally-sourced products, not products for natural hair), organic aloe vera is a commonly used product in Asia. Coconut oil is also used in other cultures well as rosemary in the US. Rice water is used in some places for cleansing hair. You can experiment if you want. Rosemary and aloe can be grown at home as long as you learn how to clean it properly. Aloe vera (without alcohol!!) can be bought off of Amazon for about $8 a bottle and can be repurposed for sunburn care if it doesn’t work for your hair. Please keep in mind: at-home remedies do not serve specific functions such as cleaning or detangling hair. Shampoos and conditioners should still be used with naturally sourced products. If you are conscious about health, EWG examines ingredients in cosmetics for carcinogens, reproductive toxicity, and allergens and irritants, and issues use-restriction recommendations based on ingredients. - Drugstore shampoo is fine. Professional shampoo is fine. All hair has different needs based on location, UV exposure, type, porosity, thickness, density, hardness of the water, hormonal changes, medical conditions treatments and illnesses, seasons, genetics, diet, age, humidity, etc. If it works, it works. And if you are lucky and the cheapest option works, can we trade hair please? - If you are on a budget, try getting travel-sized products to try them first before buying a lot of them, or go get the expensive ones when Ulta has a sale. The expensive ones might last longer and save you money overall, and drugstore might save you at the moment. Both are fine options. It depends on what your hair needs and what you can afford. And remember, it’s called a hair JOURNEY for a reason. Many people have mentioned that holy grail products can only be found through trial and error and they are correct. Unfortunately, discovering your perfect hair products will take time. Try to be patient with yourself and remember that price does not equal quality. Drugstore can work great and salon can be horrible and vice versa. Whatever works for your AND fits in your budget is what you should get. There are more important things in this world than hair.

I'm a believer now! I follow your recommendations exactly. I have short now but im growing it a little. I'm 73 and color and highlight my hair. My hair is so bouncy and soft . You are my hero. My cowlick is hardly noticeable now. I'm going longer without washing as well. I cant believe I've lived this long with dry hair. I've used very expensive products and they didn't ever do what they claimed. I've found my soul products with you. ❤
Please do a routine for fine wavy to curly hair!!!
I feel like i owe yall money for the knowledge you give away. I struggled with my hair for YEARS, and I used Biolage lol. I've been using the trinity method for 3 months, and my hair hasn't looked this good since I was 23ish. I'm 40....thank you so much!!
Your testing and sharing is eye opening. As a fine, curly hair girl, I am always trying to figure out the best products. Would hate to know how much $ I’ve wasted. You are saving people money - and heartache from bad hair. Thank you.
Please do a podcast on best products for grey hair. Your wisdom is priceless.
Can I just say… You SAVED MY HAIR thru these videos. I had a certain “hair trauma” when i was younger where, as a punishment for literally anything, my mother would chop all my hair off to where it was above my ears. And I reached for having long hair all my life and still now. But when it got to my shoulders or even shorter I would straighten it for my hair to look longer day & night. No conditioner, shampoo everyday, no clue what any products were and how they worked because my mom didn’t believe in that stuff since shes had perfect hair her entire life. But I followed the trinity method, took your quiz and purchase all the products when i was finally able too. Chopped my dead hair ONE more time and in 1 year it grew from shoulder length to mid back. Aiming for low back. Thank you. It’s never been healthier.
Hi, I've been watching your videos religiously for a month now and got many of the recommended products for my hair type and am starting an entire new hair routine. I am very excited and will post the progress soon. Thank you for sharing all the videos...really appreciate it!
Dreamcoat was not destroying her hair, not using other products and probably heat protectant was. I have used dreamcoat for years and my hair is the healthiest it’s ever been
Can you please do video on best ways and products to care for us grey hair transition ladies and what to do during the process and what to use once its completely grey to keep it in great condition thanks
Omggg the purple shampoo makes SO MUCH SENSE!! Every time I used to use purple shampoo on its own, it'd be sooo dry and I'd have so much hair falling out, no matter which one I used. Nowwww, probably influenced by you a while back, saying two things in one shampoo isn't going to be great at either 👍😁, I use purple shampoo along WITH my other regular shampoo. Thank youuu!
You literally saved my hair! I tried so much stuff for YEARS and also fell into the natural trend for a while but it only made my hair worse. The products you recommend for fine hair are amazing! I've never had such great hair in my life
we need a fragrance-free trinity routine recommendation for the sensitive skin girlies and guys!!!!!!!
I love all of your videos. A year ago I followed your recommendations for fine hair. Within two weeks the difference was unbelievable. My hair has grown and I am told several times a day that I have gorgeous hair. Thank you Chris. You and Leslie are great together.😊
Please do a video with your recommendations/directions on how to prepare hair for sleeping, so there is no need to use heat on it in the morning-Thanks, Michelle
I used the recommended products from your list and my hair has never been more beautiful, shiny and have grown so much 🤩 i have the hair of my dreams now all thanks to your list
I have learned a ton from watching your videos and then downloading the freebie lists of products that you recommend. OMG, what a difference it has made to my hair over the past year or so! I have never looked back. Although I'm in the UK, just about everything you recommend is available here and worth the cost (relative to supermarket or high street pharmacy products) because you get the results you want from professional quality products. I'm grateful.
